Stalk Rolls

The stalk rolls (A) pull cornstalks down so the ears will be snapped off at the stalk and onto the deck plates.

IMPORTANT: Periodically check stalk roll attaching bolts (B). Straight or tapered stalk roll attaching bolts should be tightened to specification. Knife stalk roll M8 attaching bolts and M10 attaching bolts should be tightened to specification.

Specification

Stalk Roll Attaching Bolts -Torque 150 N·m (110 lb-ft)
Knife Stalk Roll M8 Bolts -Torque 40 N·m (30 lb-ft)
M10 Attaching bolts -Torque 80 N·m (60 lb-ft)
