Adjusting Trash Knives

Trash knives (A) prevent weeds and trash from wrapping around stalk rolls (B).

Knives must be set as close as possible to the rolls without striking the flutes.

Loosen knife attaching bolts (C) and adjust each trash knife to a maximum of 1.5 mm (1/16-in.) of the highest flute on the stalk roll. Torque bolts to specification.
