Leveling Header Without CONTOUR MASTER
CAUTION:
Avoid serious injury, stay clear of head when inspecting levelness.
IMPORTANT:
For accurate leveling, inflate front tires to equal air pressure and park machine on a level surface.
1.
Raise header approximately halfway so that the cutterbar is above the axle.
2.
Stand approximately 5 m (15 ft) in front-center of head.
3.
Visually compare the cutterbar to the front axle of machine if cutterbar is parallel with front axle of machine, no further procedures are required. If not, go to next step.
4.
Detach header from machine.
NOTE:
There are two shims per side. All four can be used on one side to level head, if required.
5.
Remove plow bolts (A) on both sides of feeder house and remove or add shims (B and C) to desired side of feeder house to level header.
