causym CAUTION: Never service or lubricate the cutting platform while the combine engine is running.

IMPORTANT: Recommended service intervals apply to average conditions. Service more often if platform is operated under adverse conditions.

Lubricate with John Deere Multipurpose SD Polyurea Grease High Temperature/Extreme Pressure lubricant or an equal SAE Multipurpose High Temperature Grease with Extreme Pressure (EP) performance at the intervals (in hours) shown with the lubricating symbol.

1. BOTH SIDES: Lubricate reel shaft housing (5 pumps or until grease protrudes).

2. BOTH SIDES: Lubricate reel lift adjustment casting.

3. Lubricate knife head bearing.

IMPORTANT: It is normal for knife drive gearbox to become very warm during

operation. DO NOT over lubricate in an attempt to reduce temperature, seal damage can result.

4. Lubricate knife drive gearbox (10 pumps every 200 hours).

5. Align holes in shield to lubricate spline zerk. Grease shield bearings.
