Rigid Platforms

NOTE: Lower platform completely to allow for ease of knife drive belt removal.

1. Open left-hand shield (see Opening Right and Left-Hand Shields in this section).

2. Rear outside pivot cap screw and nut on front shield has to be removed to allow belt removal.

3. Pull up on tensioner arm sheave (A) to relieve belt tension.

4. Remove drive belt (B).

5. Install new belt and close left-hand shield.

Flex Platforms

NOTE: Lower platform completely to allow for ease of knife drive belt removal.

1. Open left-hand shield.

2. Loosen cap screw (A) and remove belt shield (B).

3. Remove cap screw and nut (E)

4. Pull up on tensioner arm sheave (C) to relieve belt tension.

5. Remove drive belt (D).

6. Install new belt.

7. Reinstall belt shield and retain with cap screw.

8. Close left-hand shield.

Adjusting Knife Drive Belt Tension

1. Raise platform completely and lower feeder house safety stop.

2. Loosen jam nut (A).

3. Tighten nut (B) until washer (C) aligns with end of gauge (D).

4. Tighten jam nut.
