End of Season Service - Washing Platform
IMPORTANT:
Do not use high pressure washer spray directly on bearings or any other area that might be damaged by water. High pressure water can get past most seals and cause damage. Dry these areas, then lubricate and run platform.
To reduce corrosion wash platform at end of season in a "top-to-bottom" sequence. If detergent is used, it must be in correct concentration and rinsed off immediately and thoroughly from top to bottom. Use only detergents recommended by your high pressure washer manufacturer. John Deere PT559, PT561, and PT562 detergents are very good. Suggested cleaning settings are hot water not to exceed 120° F - 130° F or 50° C - 55° C with a pressure not to exceed 700 PSI or 48 bars. Keep spray nozzle 12" from machine.
