Diagnostic Trouble Codes - SSU - Last Exit Codes (If Equipped)

Control Unit SPN FMI Last Exit Codes Description
SSU     None The system is just initializing - nothing has been checked yet.
SSU     Steering Wheel or Steering Wheel Moved Indicates steering wheel has been moved manually disabling/deactivating AutoTrac operation.
SSU     Too Slow or Speed Too Slow Indicates vehicle speed is too slow, which causes AutoTrac to not enable/activate, or causes AutoTrac to disable/deactivate when active.
SSU     Too Fast or Speed Too Fast Indicates vehicle speed is too fast, which causes AutoTrac to not enable/activate, or causes AutoTrac to disable/deactivate when active.
SSU     Reverse Timeout Indicates AutoTrac active in reverse gear too long.
SSU     Track Changed or Track Number Changed Indicates vehicle has wandered to a different parallel track number, which causes AutoTrac to disable/deactivate.
SSU     Lost Dual GPS or Invalid GPS Signal Indicates global position system communication is not dual frequency, which causes AutoTrac to not enable/activate, or causes AutoTrac to disable/deactivate when active.
SSU     SSU Error or SSU Fault Indicates there is a SSU Diagnostic Trouble code, which causes AutoTrac to not enable/activate, or causes AutoTrac to disable/deactivate when active.
SSU     OK Indicates to the operator the process of disabling AutoTrac by pressing button next to AutoTrac icon was successful.
SSU     No GSD or Invalid Display Messages Indicates the SSU is not communicating with the GREENSTAR Display or GREENSTAR Display messages being sent to SSU are not correct.
SSU     PT Turned Off or Invalid Display Settings Indicates GREENSTAR Parallel Tracking setup has not been established for this field. An A/B line needs to be set before AutoTrac activation.
SSU     No KeyCard or No AutoTrac Activation Indicates the system does not have a AutoTrac KeyCard, or there is a problem with the operator's AutoTrac KeyCard.
SSU     Heading Error or Heading Error Too Large Indicates the heading path is out of range causing AutoTrac to deactivate, or when trying to activate the heading is greater than 45° from track.
SSU     Lateral Error or Off-Tracking Error Too Large Indicates the lateral error is out of bounds causing AutoTrac to deactivate, or the lateral error is too great for AutoTrac to activate.
SSU 1504 14 No Operator or Out of Seat Indicates the operator is out of seat, or the seat switch is not working, which causes AutoTrac to not enable/activate, or causes AutoTrac to disable/deactivate when active.
SSU     Low Oil Temp or Oil Temp Too Cold Indicates the oil temperature is below 0°C / 32°F. AutoTrac will not activate until oil temperature is above 0°C/32°F.
SSU     No TCM or No TCM Corrections Indicates the system can not detect a terrain compensation module. AutoTrac will not activate unless there is a TCM on CAN bus.
SSU     Act Code or Invalid SSU Activation Code Indicates the wrong SSU activation code was entered.

SSU     Diagnostics or SSU in Diagnostic Mode Indicates the system is in calibration mode when AutoTrac is attempting to enable/activate.
SSU     Hdr Sw or Header Off Indicates to the operator the header switch is not ON, which causes AutoTrac to not enable/activate, or causes AutoTrac to disable/deactivate when active.
SSU     Road Sw or Road Mode Indicates to the operator the Road switch is ON, which causes AutoTrac to not enable/activate, or causes AutoTrac to disable/deactivate when active.
SSU     Voltage Too Low or Invalid SSU Voltage Indicates supply voltage is not yet stable.
SSU     0 speed Timeout or Vehicle Too Slow AutoTrac Universal will deactivate when vehicle speed is below 1.5 km/h (1 mph) for 30 seconds.
SSU     Curvature or Curve Too Sharp Indicates maximum curvature exceeded. Slow vehicle speed to allow for sharp curve, or record another curve path.
SSU     Wrong Direction or vehicle not traveling in the forward direction. Indicates vehicle is not traveling in forward direction.
SSU     Shutting Down or Vehicle Shutting Down Switched power is low.
SSU     Bad Gear or Gear data error Indicates SSU is receiving bad gear data.
SSU     Bad Resume or Resume Switch error. Indicates SSU receiving bad data from resume switch.
SSU     Key Switch error Indicates the key switch is not sending valid data to enable AutoTrac.
SSU     Not Enabled or AutoTrac Not Enabled Indicates AutoTrac is not enabled. Operator needs to select enable button.
SSU     Acquiring Line Indicates AutoTrac Universal is active and in line acquisition mode.
SSU     Tracking On Line Indicates AutoTrac Universal is active and has acquired the line.
SSU     Unknown Direction Indicates AutoTrac Universal direction has not been determined.
