Remove and Install Knife Guards
CAUTION:
To reduce risk of personal injury, always wear gloves when handling knives.
1.
Remove round headed cap screws and nuts (A) to remove knife guards (B).
NOTE:
Retain cutterbar hold downs (D) if removed.
If equipped with optional plastic skid plates retain brackets (C) if removed.
2.
Replaced damaged or worn guards as needed.
3.
Reinstall hardware (A) and any brackets that were previously removed.
4.
Cycle knife manually to ensure no contact between knives and guards exists. Loosen hardware (A) and adjust knife guard (B) as needed.
