Remove and Install Center Draper Belt

1. Lower platform onto blocks.

2. Raise reel completely and engage safety stops (A) on reel lift cylinders.

3. Set parking brake, turn OFF engine, and remove key.

4. Loosen belt tensioner (A).

5. Roll center belt manually until belt connector (A) is on top.

6. Remove hardware (B) and connector bars (A).

7. Remove draper belt from platform.

8. Install draper belt with rib (A) aligned with grooves (B and C).

IMPORTANT: Connector bars (A) are positioned on belt with rounded edges down and cap screw heads facing direction of travel. Failure to do so can damage and reduce belt life.

9. Position connector bars on draper belt, install lock nuts (B), and tighten to specification.

Connector Bar Lock Nuts -Torque 10 N·m (89 lb-in.)

NOTE: For difficult crop conditions, additional belt tensioning is required. Increase belt tension only as required since belt life is affected.

10. Adjust center draper belt tensioner (A) so that spring washer (B) is just inside the edge of guard (C).

11. Check operation of center draper belt and recheck belt tensioner to ensure that proper tension is applied to belt.
