Rephase and Bleed Lift Cylinders

If reel lift cylinders have become unevenly extended during operation, rephase them by fully extending and retracting the cylinders and holding control switch for 5 seconds to remove air from system.

If problem still exists, it may be necessary to bleed the reel lift system.

NOTE: A second person is needed to perform this procedure.

1. Raise reel completely and engage safety stops on reel lift cylinders.

2. Set parking brake, turn OFF engine, and remove key.

3. Open bleed plug (A).

4. Raise reel and hold switch until oil is free of air bubbles at bleed plug.

5. Tighten plug to specification.
