Transporting

causym CAUTION: Follow local regulations regarding width, lighting, and marking.

IMPORTANT: Whenever possible avoid transporting on public roadways with the header attached.

If the combine must be transported with the header attached: make sure that the flashing warning lights on the header are operating and the reflective material is clean and visible.

The use of a spotter or pilot vehicle is recommended on busy, narrow, or hilly roads and when crossing bridges.

Drive at a speed that is safe for conditions.

1. Raise platform completely using header switch (A).

2. Engage road transport disconnect switch (A).

causym CAUTION: When transporting on a road or highway, flashing warning lights and tail lights on both sides provide a warning to approaching vehicles. These warning lights must be turned ON when driving the combine on a public road.

Swing the cab ladder fully forward as possible in order to orient warning light towards oncoming motorists.

Do not operate flashing warning lights if prohibited by law.

3. Turn hazard light switch (A) "ON" for all road travel. Warning lights automatically operate when the hazard lights are "ON".

4. Turn "ON" road lights (B) for night travel.

NOTE: Turn signals are not self canceling.
