Removing Center Feed Assembly
1. Put platform into field mode (See PREPARING PLATFORM FOR FIELD OPERATION procedure in the TRANSPORTATION section of this manual). 2. Place 6" x 6" block under float arms and lower draper to ground. Leave combine attached.

CAUTION:
Death to you or others can occur from feeder house inadvertently lowering. Do not for any reason climb under feeder house or attached components unless feeder house safety stop (A) is engaged.

Remove multicoupler from storage bracket.
4. Remove multicoupler hose strap (A) from latch (B) and route multicoupler through attachment frame (1). 5. Reattach multicoupler to storage bracket. 6. Raise feeder house enough to support center feed weight. Do not attach multicoupler.

Remove backshaft (A) from main gearbox and place on mounting post (B).

Pull pin (A) and rotate 90° on both sides of attachment frame.

9.
Remove pins (A-B) to remove center lift cylinder (C) from attachment frame.

Remove sump pan cover (See REMOVE AND INSTALL SUMP PAN procedure in the MAINTENANCE section of this manual).
11. Remove sump pan from front of center feed. 12. Move straight pin (A) towards outside of machine (1) and remove pin (B) by pulling towards inside of machine (2). 13. Repeat for pin on right side of center feed. 14. Carefully drive combine in reverse to remove attachment frame and center feed assembly from draper. 15. Lower center feed assembly onto blocks. |

Disconnect center feed drive shaft (A) from main gearbox.

Remove spring pin (A) and pull pin (B).
18. Remove cap screw and nut (C). 19. Repeat on left side of center feed assembly. 20. Drive combine in reverse to remove attachment frame from center feed assembly.

NOTE: If left-hand opening is desired, perform steps on left-hand deck shifting to the right. 21. Remove cap screws (A) and right-hand deck lock (B). NOTE: Maintain sufficient clearance between draper decks so belt cleats do not contact each other. 22. Slide right-hand deck left.

NOTE: If wider opening is desired, left-hand deck can be unlocked and shifted to the left using the following two steps. Maintain sufficient clearance between draper belt and mainframe on left end. 23. Remove and retain cap screws (A), cap screws (B), bracket (C) and backsheet extension (D). NOTE: Maintain sufficient clearance between mainframe and belt cleats. 24. Reinstall deck lock using previously removed cap screws. |

Reverse hydraulic hoses (A) and (B) on right-hand motor.
26. Drive combine forward and reattach frame to draper.

Rotate pin (A) 90° on both sides of attachment frame so they latch in place.

Reattach center lift cylinder (C) to attachment frame using retained pins (A) and (B).

Remove backshaft (A) from mounting post (B) and reattach to main gearbox.

Remove multicoupler from storage bracket.
31. Route multicoupler through attachment frame (1) and reattach strap (A) to latch (B). 32. Attach multicoupler to feeder house.
