Hydraulic Reservoir Filter (S780 and S790)

A - Wiring Harness Connector
B - Sensor
C - Cap Screws
D - Filter Cap
Clean area around the filter cap before removing to prevent
system contamination. It is not necessary to drain system when replacing
filter.
Hydraulic Reservoir Filter - Remove and replace filter when
performance decline is noticed or diagnostic trouble code is generated.

Disconnect wiring harness connector (A) from sensor (B).

Remove cap screws equally to relieve spring pressure
from the filter cap. Inspect and replace O-ring underneath the filter cap as
needed.
Remove and retain cap screws (C) and filter cap (D).

Remove and retain the spring on top of filter.

Remove and discard filter.

Install replacement filter as shown with previously removed
spring.

Install previously removed filter cap.
-
Use filter cap to compress spring and install previously removed
cap screws.

Verify that O-ring remains in place when installing
filter cap.
Tighten cap screws to specification.
