Lack Of Or Insufficient Cooling

Temperature control in OFF position.

Turn Air Conditioner to ON position.

 

Compressor belt off or broken.

Replace belt.

 

Compressor not functioning (if both the large and small hoses in the left-hand access panel are at the same temperature).

See your John Deere dealer.

 

Temperature control is not responding (temperature door broken resulting in warm air).

See your John Deere dealer.

 

Low-pressure warning (system lost refrigerant).

See your John Deere dealer.

 

High-pressure warning (system is overcharged).

See your John Deere dealer.

Compressor clutch cycles excessively or compressor stays OFF up to 15 minutes.

Evaporator icing.

Adjust controls correctly. See Combine Overview Application Help or Operator’s Station Help for further information. Open louvers. Clean filters. Move control to a warmer setting.

Bad smell (foul odor) in cab.

Plugged drain tube. Dirty filters. Dirty cab.

Blow out condensate tube and clean pan under evaporator. Clean filters. Vacuum out cab.

Be certain weep valve in the condensate drain tube is installed.
