Multifunction Control Handle Linkage-Adjusting (Non ProDrive Machines)If machine moves with multifunction control handle in neutral position, then adjust as follows:
Do not adjust or install control cable with engine running, machine may move. Shut OFF engine, set parking brake and remove key. Place multifunction control handle in neutral position. Remove ball joint nut (A) from pump arm (B) (ensure pump arm is in neutral [spring loaded detent]). Loosen jam nut and turn ball joint (C), until ball joint stud passes freely into arm hole. Do not move arm from neutral position. Use inside hole for 105cc/rev pump. If adjustment at ball joint (fine thread end) is not adequate, more adjustment (coarse thread end) is available using the cable bulkhead jam nuts (D). Be certain adequate thread remains in ball joint and all hardware is tightened. If movement still occurs after adjusting, see your John Deere dealer. |
