This list shows all possible calibrations. Depending on machine options and header types, listing shown might not match calibration menu shown on display.
NOTE:
Error codes show on display if a problem exists during a calibration procedure. Conditions causing error must be corrected before continuing calibration.
IMPORTANT:
Threshing Clearance Calibration should not be completed with round bar concave covers installed. An incorrect zero position may result.
-
Threshing Clearance Calibration -
Perform calibration when control unit LC1, threshing clearance sensor, or associated components are replace/adjusted.
-
Header Calibration -
Perform calibration;
-
If control unit LC1 has been replaced.
-
If a header height control sensor or associated components are replaced/adjusted.
-
First time each header is connected to combine.
-
Feeder House Speed Calibration -
Perform calibration;
-
If control unit LC1 has been replaced.
-
First time each header is connected to combine.
-
If attachments of significant weight is added to or removed from head.
-
Chaffer Opening Calibration -
Perform calibration when control unit LC2 or chaffer actuator has been replaced/adjusted or louver openings are out of adjustment.
-
Sieve Opening Calibration -
Perform calibration when control unit LC2 or sieve actuator has been replaced/adjusted or louver openings are out of adjustment.
|
NOTE:
When prompted during self-leveling shoe calibration to level chaffer and sieve, use switches on side of machine to level bays.
-
Self-Leveling Shoe Calibration (If Equipped) -
Perform calibration when control unit LC2 or chaffer/sieve actuator has been replaced/adjusted or bays are not level.
-
Corn Head Deck Plate Calibration -
Perform calibration when control unit LC1 or deck plate position sensor or associated components are replaced/adjusted.
-
Smart Feed Rate Handle Calibration (If Equipped) -
Perform calibration when control unit VCM, handle position sensor are replaced/adjusted.
-
Smart Feed Rate Valve Calibration (If Equipped) -
Perform calibration when control unit VCM, forward solenoid, or reverse solenoid has been replaced.
NOTE:
Moisture sensor must be calibrated if any of the following conditions exist:
· Moisture sensor readings inaccurate.
· Moisture sensor shows "moisture unmeasurable" warnings.
· Moisture sensor HMM or related components were replaced.
-
Moisture Calibration (If Equipped) -
Perform calibration when control unit HMM or associated components are replaced/adjusted.
