Chopper Door Position
CAUTION:
Before performing service or maintenance on raised chopper, use lift actuator to snap lock-out pins into place. Shut OFF engine, set parking brake and remove key.
Deflector door (A) must be installed in middle position for chopping. Put spring loaded pins (B) in holes (C) on both sides of chopper to hold door in position. This position is acceptable for windrowing.
Deflector door can be raised for access to tow hook. Put spring loaded pins in holes (D) on both sides of chopper to hold door in position.
IMPORTANT:
Do not harvest crop with door in raised position. Door will prevent crop material from exiting machine.
Deflector door can also be lowered past middle position for access to cleaning shoe. Lowering door will also provide more exit room for straw when windrowing in heavy straw conditions.
