Feeder House Reverser Valve and Reverser Housing

NOTE: Feeder house reverser only engages when feeder house drum is not rotating.

Feeder house reverser uses hydrostatic charge pressure to shift the feeder house gearcase. When reverser solenoid is energized, hydrostatic charge oil is routed to the reverser shift cylinder (A), causing it to retract against a spring. Oil from the spring side is vented back to the hydraulic reservoir. The piston retracts a shift fork inside, which moves the shift collar from a forward position to a reverse position. To operate reverser, see Shifting Feeder House in CommandTouch Armrest Console section.
