Chopper-Lowering

causym CAUTION: Shut OFF engine, set parking brake and remove key.

1. Release latch (A) and lift shield (B) over pins (C).

2. Remove quick-lock pins (D) from shield (E) and remove.

3. Remove chopper drive belt (F) from storage position and place on desired speed sheaves.

4. Move deflector door (G) to middle position as shown.

5. Pull lock-out pins (H) rearward and rotate up until handle rests on bracket (I).

IMPORTANT: When lowering chopper, verify belt aligns with proper sheaves.

6. Lower chopper fully with switch (A) and verify belt aligns with sheaves.

7. Install previously removed chopper shields.
