Chopper Drive Speeds-Changing

causym CAUTION: Shut OFF engine, set parking brake and remove key.

Release latch (A) and lift shield (B) over pins (C).

Remove quick-lock pins (D) from shield (E) and remove.

Raise chopper assembly fully with switch (A) until lock-out pins snap into place.

For High Speed (2500 rpm):

Install belt on outside sheave grooves (A), idlers (B) and outside sheave grooves (C).

  • Grain
For Low Speed (1600 rpm):

Install belt on inside sheave grooves (A), idlers (B), and inside sheave grooves (C).

  • Corn

Pull lock-out pins rearward and rotate up until handles rest on bracket.

Lower chopper and verify belt aligns with sheaves.

Install chopper shields and verify washer (D) is positioned between end of gauge (E) and bottom of step. Adjust as required.
