Chopper Drive Belt Tension—Adjusting

CAUTION: Shut OFF engine, set parking brake and remove key.

A - Lock Nut

B - Nut

C - Washer

D - Gauge

Chopper belt idler tension is located on left-hand side above chopper.

Spring tensioning assembly must be in drive engaged position to adjust.

Loosen lock nut (A).

Tighten nut (B) until washer (C) is positioned between end of gauge (D) and bottom of step. Tighten lock nut.
