CAUTION: Do not let anyone stand behind spreader while it is running. Shut OFF engine, set parking brake and remove key before adjusting spreader.

NOTE: To provide optimal material distribution, shrouds should be removed when harvesting with headers smaller than 9.2 m (30 ft.) or corn heads smaller than 12 rows.

When wide spread straw spreader blades (A) and shrouds (B) are installed, it increases spread width and provides better material distribution for headers larger than 9.2 m (30 ft.). See your John Deere dealer for further information.
