Transporting Machine on a Trailer

    A - Folding Functions Shortcut Switch

    C - Grain Tank Fold

    Avoid collisions with other roadway users. Before transporting on a public roadway check and follow local regulations regarding the use of lights, flags, over-width signs, pilot vehicles, and other requirements for wide loads.

    Press folding functions shortcut switch (A) for direct navigation to the folding functions screen.



  2. IMPORTANT: Verify that grain tank is unloaded before transporting machine on road.

    Touch or press and hold confirm switch when folding unloading auger icon (B) is highlighted.

    NOTE: Folding unloading auger is an automatic feature when icon is selected. Unloading auger begins to fold automatically when icon is selected.

  3. CAUTION: Avoid power line entanglement. Grain tank covers must be closed before transporting machine.

    Grain Tank Covers (If Equipped):

    Touch or press and hold confirm switch when grain tank fold (C) icon is highlighted.

    NOTE: Covers automatically fold when desired icon is touched or confirm switch is pressed.

    Manual Fold Clean Grain Auger (If Equipped): Release clamps (A) and lower auger.

    Grain Tank Extensions (If Equipped):

    1. Remove quick-lock pin (A) from grain tank extensions (B).

      B - Left-Hand and Right-Hand Grain Tank Extensions

      Fold front and rear grain tank extensions (A) first, then fold left-hand and right-hand grain tank extensions (B) last to reduce overall height.



  6. Remove header and outside dual wheels (if equipped).

  7. Drive machine on trailer and move multi-function lever to neutral position.

  8. Shut OFF engine, set parking brake and remove key.

  9. Fold radio antenna down and retain with hook (if equipped). If hook is not available, retain antenna to cab roof with tape.

  10. Swing cab ladder fully forward.

    Lower and latch engine access covers (A) and lower handrail (B).



  12. (Tier 2/Stage II) Engines: Tape muffler cap closed to prevent damage to turbocharger.

    Possible injury or death to you or others can occur from falling. Use a ladder or equivalent with an appropriate load rating to access location when installing unloading auger retaining pin. Do not attempt to access location from engine platform.

    Retrieve pin (A) and spring pin from tool box and install hardware as shown.

    Remove hardware (A) and remove cable (B) from storage position.

    Adjust pin to different positions if cable does not reach.

    Install cable (A) over pin and retain with spring pin (B).
