Hydraulic Reservoir Filter—Replacing

CAUTION:

A - Connector

B - Cap Screws (4 Used)

C - Filter Cap

NOTE: Clean area around filter cap before removing to prevent system contamination.

Disconnect wiring harness connector (A).

CAUTION: Remove cap screws equally to relieve spring pressure from filter cap.

Remove and retain cap screws (B) and filter cap (C).

NOTE: Inspect and replace O-ring underneath filter cap as needed.

B - Filter

Remove and discard filter (B).

Install replacement filter as shown with previously removed spring.

Install previously removed filter cap.

Use filter cap to compress spring and install previously removed cap screws.

IMPORTANT: Verify O-ring remains in place when installing filter cap.

Tighten cap screws to specification and connect wiring harness connector.
