Chopper Drive Belt Tension—Adjusting

A - Quick-Lock Pins

B - Shield

Shut OFF engine, set parking brake and remove key.

NOTE: Lower chopper fully to properly tension belts.

Remove quick-lock pins (A) and shield (B).

A - Lock Nut

B - Nut

C - Washer

D - Gauge

Loosen lock nut (A) and tighten nut (B) until washer (C) is positioned between end of gauge (D) and bottom of step. Tighten lock nut.

Install shield and retain with quick-lock pins.
