Every 50 Hours of Operation

NOTE: All checks should be made with platform on ground and engine shut OFF.

  1. Check Main Gearbox Oil Level

    Right-Hand Side of Main Gearbox

    A - Check Plug

    B - Plug with Breather

    C - Drain Plug

    1. Remove check plug (A) to check oil level.

    2. NOTE: To ease filling, add oil at breather port (B).

      If necessary, add 80W-90 oil up to check plug hole.

    3. Install plugs.


  2. Check 90° Gearbox Oil Level

    A - Dipstick

    1. Remove dipstick (A) to check oil level.

    2. If necessary, add 80W-90 oil to proper level and install dipstick.

    3. Repeat procedure on opposite side of platform.


  3. Check Center Feed Gearbox Oil Level

    A - Check Plug

    B - Plug with Breather

    C - Drain Plug

    1. Remove check plug (A) to check oil level.

    2. NOTE: To ease filling, add oil at breather port (B).

      If necessary, add 80W-90 oil up to check plug hole.

    3. Install plugs.


  4. Check Side Draper Gearbox Oil Level

    B - Fill Plug

    1. Remove check plug (A) to check oil level.

    2. NOTE: To ease filling, add oil at fill plug (B).

      If necessary, add 80W-90 oil up to check plug hole.

    3. Install plugs.

    4. Repeat procedure on opposite side of platform.


  5. Lubricate Knife Head Grease Fitting

    1. Apply grease to knife head grease fitting (A).

    2. Repeat procedure on opposite side of platform.


  6. Lubricate Feed Drum Drive Shaft Grease Fitting

    A - Center Feed Drive Shaft Grease Fitting

    Align hole in shield to locate grease fitting. Apply grease to center feed drive shaft grease fitting (A).


  7. Lubricate Input Drive Shaft Grease Fitting

    Align hole in shield to locate grease fitting. Apply grease to input drive shaft grease fitting (A).


  8. Lubricate Reel Grease Fitting

    A - Reel Grease Fitting

    B - Reel Grease Fitting (Split Reel Only)

    Apply grease to reel grease fitting (A) on both ends of reel.

    Split Reel Only: Also apply grease to reel grease fitting (B) at center lift arm.


  9. Lubricate Telescoping Knife Drive Shaft Grease Fitting

    1. Apply grease to knife drive shaft grease fitting (A).

    2. Repeat procedure on opposite side of platform.
