In Case of Fire

Stop harvesting immediately at first sign of fire. This may
be the smell of smoke or the sight of smoke or flames.
Do not risk personal injury. If a fire is too far advanced,
do not try to extinguish it.
If fire can be safely extinguished, proceed carefully and follow
these guidelines:

Remove fire extinguisher from bracket and carry to area of fire.

Approach area of fire with wind to your back.

Pull safety pin from top of extinguisher.

Hold extinguisher upright by handles and aim hose at base of
flames.
-
Squeeze handles to discharge fire extinguisher.
-
Move nozzle back and forth, covering flames with a cloud of
powder or water.
