Fan Drive Belt—Replacing (Tier 2/Stage II) (S680 and S690)

A - Lock-Out Pin

B - Handrail

C - Separator Access Cover

Shut OFF engine, set parking brake and remove key.

Pull lock-out pin (A) and rotate handrail (B) up until handrail locks into place to open separator access cover (C).

B - Shield

Remove cap screws (A) and shield (B).

B - Rotary Screen Drive Belt

Loosen nuts (A) and remove rotary screen drive belt (B).

B - Rotary Screen Door

Pull latches (A) and open rotary screen door (B).

B - Clamps

C - Air Duct

Remove nuts (A) and loosen hose clamps (B).

Lay air duct (C) out of the way.

Remove shield (A).

Fan Belt Routing

A - Tensioner

B - Fan Belt

Use breaker bar to relieve belt tension from tensioner arm (A).

Remove belt (B) and work belt over fan blades to remove.

Install replacement belt over fan blades.

Use breaker bar to relieve tension from tensioner arm to install replacement belt.

A - Nuts

B - Rotary Screen Drive Belt

Install rotary screen drive belt (B).

Tighten nuts (A) until washer is positioned between end of gauge and bottom of step.

Install previously removed shield (front side).

Close separator access cover and lower handrail.

Install previously removed shield (rear side) and air duct.

Close and latch rotary screen door.
