Side Draper Belt Tension

    A - HydraFlex Pressure Adjust Switch

    B - Selection Dial

    HydraFlex pressure must be set to maximum for accurate belt tension reading.

    Press HydraFlex pressure adjust switch (A) and rotate selection dial (B) clockwise.



  2. Shut OFF engine, set parking brake, and remove key.


Side Draper Belt Tension for 630FD

    A - Tension Nut

    B - Plate

    Clean all crop residue, debris, and material from area around tension gauge.



  2. Tighten tension nut (A) so surface of nut is flush with outside surface of plate (B).

  3. Repeat tension adjustment on opposite side of platform, if necessary.

  4. Close all doors and shields.

  5. Start engine which must be running at slow idle, engage separator and platform.

  6. Set to HydraFlex™ work pressure.

  7. Raise and lower to the ground the platform three times.

    NOTE: Allow platform beat the ground when perform the raise and lower procedure.

  8. Increase HydraFlex™ pressure until rigid mode is obtained.

  9. Raise platform and set to HydraFlex™ work pressure.

  10. Shut OFF engine, set parking brake and remove key.

  11. Check tension again and adjust if necessary.

  12. After 10 minutes working with the platform recheck the tensions belts.


Side Draper Belt Tension for 635FD, 640FD and 645FD

  1. NOTE: Check the deflector position before increasing or decreasing belt tension, if necessary, position the deflector properly.

    NOTE: Deflector is viewed on both sides of the platform.

    Position the deflector (A) onto pin (B).



  2. NOTE: The single tension nut adjust both draper belts on that side. Right-hand side tensioner adjusts both right-hand side draper belts, left side is the same.

    D - Tension Indicator

    Open the side shield and use tension nut (A) to increase or decrease belt tension.

    IMPORTANT: Avoid severe belt damage. Do NOT operate platform with tension indicator outside of green area gauge.



  3. NOTE: Tension gauge is viewed from the back of the platform, behind door.

    To view tension gauge, release latch (B) and open door (C).

  4. Clean all crop residue, debris, and material from area around tension gauge.

  5. Use tension indicator (D) to visualize the applied belt tension. Indicator must be positioned at center of tension gauge green area.

  6. Repeat the tension adjustment in the other side of platform, if necessary.

  7. Start engine which must be running at slow idle, engage separator and platform.

  8. Set to HydraFlex™ work pressure.

  9. Raise and lower to the ground the platform three times.

    NOTE: Allow platform beat the ground when perform the raise and lower procedure.

  10. Increase HydraFlex™ pressure until rigid mode is obtained.

  11. Raise platform and set to HydraFlex™ work pressure.

  12. Shut OFF engine, set parking brake and remove key.

  13. Check tension belt. The Indicator must be positioned at center of tension gauge green area.

  14. Close all doors and shields.

  15. After 10 minutes working with the platform recheck the tensions belts.
