Fore/Aft Cylinder Mount Adjustment

1. 630FD and 635FD Single Reel Platforms:

      A - Position

      B - Position

      C - Position

      Lower platform to ground.

   2. Raise reel and engage safety stops.

   3. CAUTION: Failure to properly secure reel to lift arm could result in sudden reel movement, causing severe injury or death.

      NOTE: Adjust reel arms until the top of arms are level.

      Position clamps on lift arms to prevent reel from moving while disconnecting fore/aft cylinders.

   4. Remove pins and spacers retaining reel to fore/aft cylinder.

   5. Adjust cylinder shafts until desired position (A or B) is obtained.

      IMPORTANT: Do NOT use saddle position (C). Machine damage will occur if this saddle position is used.

   6. Adjust reel position if necessary.

   7. Install spacers and pins to attach fore/aft cylinders to reel.

   640FD and 645FD Split Reel Platform:

   1. IMPORTANT: Fore/aft cylinder adjustments must include center lift arm.

      Lower platform to ground, completely raise reel, and engage safety stops.

   2. Shut OFF engine, set parking brake, and remove key.

   3. CAUTION: Failure to properly secure reel to lift arm could result in sudden reel movement, causing severe injury or death.

      NOTE: Adjust reel arms until the top of arms are level.

      Position clamps on lift arms to prevent reel from moving while disconnecting fore/aft cylinders.

   4. Remove cotter pin (C), straight pin (D), and spacers (E) on each fore/aft cylinder.

   5. CAUTION: Avoid serious injury due to reel lowering unexpectedly. If header must be engaged to adjust shafts hydraulically, center lift cylinder will not be locked out.

      Adjust cylinder shafts (F) until desired position (A or B) is obtained. Manually adjust reel position if necessary.

   6. Reinstall spacers and pins to attach fore/aft cylinders to reel.
