Lower platform onto safety stops or blocks.

Raise reel completely and engage safety stops.

Open side shields (see OPEN SIDE SHIELDS in SERVICE section)
and clean all chaff and debris.

IMPORTANT: Do not use high-pressure washer spray directly on
bearings, decals, or any other sensitive areas. High-pressure water
can remove seals, lubricants, and decals.
Loosen tension on side draper belts (see SIDE DRAPER BELT TENSION
in ADJUSTMENTS — FEEDING RELATED section).

Lift up on side belts and power wash inside belts. Make sure
to wash away all chaff and debris.

Remove center draper belt and clean frame (see REMOVE AND INSTALL
CENTER DRAPER BELT in SERVICE section). Reinstall belt loosely.

Check fluid levels on all gearboxes.

Apply grease where needed as outlined in LUBRICATION AND MAINTENANCE
section of this manual.

Lower reel completely.
-
Paint all parts where paint is worn or chipped.
-
Close side shields.
-
If possible, shelter header in a dry place.
