Beginning of Season Service

1. Raise reel completely and engage safety stops.

2. Open side shields (see OPEN SIDE SHIELDS in SERVICE section).

3. IMPORTANT: Do not use high-pressure washer spray directly on bearings, decals, or any other sensitive areas. High-pressure water can remove seals, lubricants, and decals.

   Wash any dirt or debris off of machine that accumulated during storage.

4. Tighten side draper belts (see SIDE DRAPER BELT TENSION in ADJUSTMENTS—FEEDING RELATED section).

5. Tighten center draper belt (see CENTER DRAPER BELT TENSION in ADJUSTMENTS—FEEDING RELATED section).

6. Check fluid levels on all gearboxes.

7. Apply grease where needed as outlined in LUBRICATION AND MAINTENANCE section of this manual.

8. Verify all hardware is tightened to specification and all cotter pins are spread.

9. Close side shields.

10. Run platform at half speed for a few minutes. Check for overheating bearings and gearbox leaks.

11. Calibrate platform to machine (See CALIBRATION AND PROGRAMMING section of this manual).

12. Review your Operator's Manual.
