Remove and Install Knife Sections

1. CAUTION:

   A - Nuts

   B - Knife Section

   To reduce risk of personal injury, always wear gloves when handling knives.

   Raise platform completely and engage feeder house safety stop.

2. Raise reel completely and engage safety stops on reel lift cylinders.

3. Shut OFF engine, set parking brake, and remove key.

4. Position knife so hold-downs and guard tangs do not inhibit section removal.

5. Remove nuts (A) on knife section (B).

6. Remove and discard knife section.

7. NOTE: It may be necessary to reposition knife slightly to enable cap screws to pass through guard opening.

   Replace any damaged cap screws.

8. Install knife section and nuts.

9. Tighten nuts to specification.
