A - Sensor Arm

B - Float Arm

C - Lock Pin

D - Pin Storage Location

E - Sensor Locked-Up Pin Location

F - Cap Screws and Lock Nuts

Header height sensor arms (A) are located under the platform, attached to a float arm (B). Each arm contacts the ground under platform which actuates a sensor.

Sensor arms are used when crops are harvested between 102-356 mm (4-14 in.) off the ground. To achieve the higher cut heights it may be necessary to remove hardware (F), slide sensor arm out for increased reach, and reinstall hardware.

IMPORTANT: Avoid header height malfunction and equipment damage. When sensor arms are unlocked, lock pin (C) MUST be placed in storage location (D). Do NOT store pin on sensor arm.

Sensor arm must be returned to completely retracted position for storage or transport.

To lock-up sensor arm when not in use: remove lock pin (C) from storage location (D), push sensor arm up completely, and install pin at lock-up position (E). To unlock sensor arms, reverse procedure.
