Set Cutterbar Knife Timing

1. CAUTION: Knife drive shaft is heavy. Use suitable lifting device to assist with removal.

   NOTE: Only one drive shaft must be disconnected to set timing.

   A - Telescoping Drive Shaft

   B - Cap Screws and Nuts

   Disconnect one telescoping knife drive shaft (A).

   1. Loosen cap screws and nuts (B).

   2. Pull drive shaft coupler off gearbox shaft.

   A - Bearing Mount Cap Screws

   On each end of platform, manually rotate knife drive gearbox until bearing mount cap screws (A) are positioned completely outward.

3. Reconnect telescoping drive shaft. Tighten to specification.
