Transporting on Combine

    A - Raise/Lower Switch

    Follow local regulations regarding width, lighting, and marking.

    IMPORTANT: Whenever possible avoid transporting on public roadways with header attached.

    If combine must be transported with header attached, make sure flashing warning lights on the header are operating and reflective material is clean and visible.

    Use of a spotter or pilot vehicle is recommended on busy, narrow, or hilly roads and when crossing bridges.

    Drive at a speed safe for conditions.

    Completely raise platform with header switch (A).

    Engage feeder house safety stop (A).

    A - Road Transport Disconnect Switch

    B - Indicator Light

    Engage road transport disconnect switch (A).

    NOTE: Light (B) will be ON when switch is engaged.

    B - Road Light Switch

    When transporting on a road or highway, flashing warning lights and taillights on both sides provide a warning to approaching vehicles. Warning lights must be turned ON when driving combine on a public road.

    Swing cab ladder fully forward to orient warning light towards oncoming motorists.

    Do not operate flashing warning lights if prohibited by law.

    Turn hazard light switch (A) ON for all road travel.

    Turn road lights switch (B) ON for nighttime travel. Hazard lights automatically operate when the road lights are ON.
