Automatic Header Height Control — Rigid Mode
Operating a flex platform in rigid mode may be desired for some
crops and conditions. A combination of hydraulic adjustments and mechanical
components will allow a flex platform to be operated in rigid mode.
NOTE: Rigid mode sensor arms MUST be in down position and calibrated
each time they are used.

Auxiliary sensor arms (A) are located under platform, attached
to a float arm (B).
To release sensor arms:
-
Remove quick-lock pin (C) and allow arm to lower.
NOTE: Quick-lock pins must be removed for off the ground cutting.
-
Install pin at storage location (D).
IMPORTANT: Avoid header height malfunction and equipment damage.
When sensor arms are unlocked (in use), quick-lock pin MUST be stored
on float arm (D). Do NOT store pin on sensor arm (E).
NOTE: To achieve higher cut heights it may be necessary to remove
hardware (F), adjust sensor arm reach, and reinstall hardware.
-
To store sensor arms:
-
Remove quick-lock pin from storage location (D).
-
Completely lift sensor arm and install pin to lock arm in raised
