Feed Drum Stripper Clearance

   A - Round Head Cap Screws and Nuts (2 used)

   B - Feed Drum Stripper Plate

   C - Round Head Cap Screws and Nuts (2 used)

   D - Feed Drum Stripper Plate

   E - Feed Drum Flighting

   F - Feed Drum Drive Shaft

   Loosen round head cap screws and nuts (A and C)

2. Adjust stripper plates (B and D), so plates are 1—3 mm (3/64—1/8 in.) away from feed drum flighting (E) at its nearest point.

3. Disengage feed drum drive shaft (F) from main gearcase using the quick release.

4. Verify that feed drum strippers clear all flighting by rotating feed drum at least one revolution by hand.

5. Tighten previously loosened round head cap screws and nuts.

6. Repeat on opposite side of feed drum.
