Installing Wide-Swing Drawbar Support (55-60 Series Tractors)

   A - Support Channel

   B - Support Angle (2 used)

   C - Upper Chain (2 used)

   D - Lower Chain (2 used)

   E - Support Strap (2 used)

   Remove intermediate safety chain support (not shown) and replace with spacer.

2. Install support channel (A) under drawbar, using one 3/4 x 4-1/2 in. Grade 8 cap screw and one 3/4 x 7 in. Grade 8 cap screw. Use 0.25 in. washer on 3/4 x 7 in. cap screw when attaching to 4055-4455 Tractor.

3. Mount drawbar support angle (B) on each axle housing with one U-bolt and two 3/4 in. lock washers and nuts.

4. Attach one chain (C) to each drawbar support angle with one 5/8 x 2-1/4 in. cap screw, support washer, lock washer, and nut.

5. Attach one chain (D) to each chain (C), with one support strap (E), and two 5/8 X 2-1/4 in. cap screws, support washers, lock washers, and nuts.

6. Measure chain length from support angle (B) to support channel (A). If necessary, remove excess links.

7. Attach one chain (D) to each side of support channel (A) with one U-bolt and two 5/8 in. lock washers and nuts.
