    A - Multifunction Control Handle

    B - Throttle

To slow and stop the machine, slowly return the multifunction control handle (A) to “Park” press down on brake pedal if a quicker stop is necessary.

NOTE: Modulated secondary brake dial does not need to be engaged when parking machine. Park brakes are automatically applied when multifunction control handle is in “Park” position.

Park brake switch may be engaged to prevent machine from moving if multifunction control handle is bumped. Park brake switch must be disengaged before moving machine.

  2. Press low idle switch (B) to reduce engine speed to low idle.

  3. Turn all lights and accessories “OFF”.

IMPORTANT: To prevent engine damage, before stopping engine that has been operating at working load, idle engine for at least 2 minutes to cool hot engine parts.

On Final Tier 4/Stage IV engine equipped machines, do not disconnect battery until LED indicator at battery shutoff is off. Selective Catalyst Reduction system automatically purges lines of Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) during this time, immediately after machine is stopped. If adequate time is not allowed for lines to be purged, any DEF remaining in lines can crystallize and plug lines. In freezing weather, DEF will freeze and possibly burst lines.

  4. Turn key to “OFF” position and remove key.

  5. Lower ladder.
