Replace Primary and Secondary Engine Air Filters—

CAUTION: Avoid serious injury from falling. Do not stand on fuel tank when replacing air filters.

NOTE: Use a commercial ladder to access air filters.

   A - Cap Screw, 2 Used

   B - Access Panel

   C - Latches

   D - Filter Cover

   Remove and retain cap screws (A).

2. Remove access panel (B).

3. Release latches (C) and remove filter cover (D).

   A - Primary Filter

   B - Filter Canister

   C - Secondary Filter

   Pull primary filter (A) from filter canister (B).

5. Clean dirt from inside cover and canister.

6. IMPORTANT: Do not attempt to clean filters.

   Replace secondary filter (C) every second primary filter change.

   Install new secondary filter immediately to prevent dust from entering air intake system.

   Rotate secondary filter counterclockwise to remove.

7. Replace filters and reinstall cover and access panel.
