Warm the Engine

N100187-UN-17JUL13
A - Coolant Temperature
Do not place engine under full load until it is properly warmed.
View the engine coolant temperature (A) on the primary display unit.
IMPORTANT: To provide proper lubrication after engine starts,
operate engine at approximately 900 rpm, with no load for 1—2
minutes. At temperatures below freezing point, this period must be
extended to 2—4 minutes.
As engine and hydraulic fluid warm up, cycle steering wheel
back and forth to circulate warm hydraulic fluid. Continue until steering
turns freely. This allows warm hydraulic fluid to circulate more efficiently.
