Halogen bulbs (A) contain gas under pressure. Handling a
bulb improperly could cause it to shatter into flying fragments. To
avoid possible injury:
Turn light switch OFF and allow bulb to cool before changing
bulbs. Leave switch OFF until bulb change is complete.
Wear eye protection when changing bulb.
Handle bulb by its base. Wear protective gloves or avoid touching
light bulb surface.
Use a clean cloth and alcohol to remove any fingerprints from
glass bulb before installing. Skin oil deposited on bulb will cause
overheating and premature failure.
Do not drop or scratch bulb.
Keep moisture away from bulb.
Do not operate bulb outside of enclosure. Bulb has a high internal
pressure and if cracked or broken it could explode and cause injury.
Place used bulb in new bulb carton and dispose of properly.
Keep out of reach of children.
