  5. Enter number of crop rows the boom section will be banding instead of number of nozzles the boom section has in location (C) using pop-up keyboard.

  6. Enter crop row width instead of nozzle spacing in location (D) using pop-up keyboard.

  7. Enter band width instead of spray width in location (E) using pop-up keyboard. Select the Enter button (F) to accept new value. (Repeat for each section on boom.)

NOTE: Section spray width and total width are calculated automatically from above settings.

NOTE: Verify target application rate is for banded area and not covered area.

  8. The acre counter on both Sprayer Main Page and in Job Summaries records covered acres and not banded acres.

The application rate in Job Summaries is calculated by total volume applied divided by covered acres, NOT banded acres. When band spraying, the application rate in Job Summaries will always be a percentage of the target rate.

To determine if application rate in Job Summaries is correct, use the following equation:

Job Summaries Application Rate = Target Application Rate x Band Width ÷ Row Width

NOTE: The sample screen on this page has been programmed for banding 40 in. rows with a band width of 20 in.
