Wet System Valves

Solution Tank Sump Valve

N98783
N98783-UN-17SEP12

N106674
N106674-UN-24SEP13

A - Solution Tank Sump Valve

With user input, the solution tank sump valve controls different loading methods when using either the solution pump or a nurse tank pump. The solution tank sump valve is also used to close off the solution tank from the rest of the wet system in case repairs are required in the system.

Opening and closing of solution tank valve is controlled manually with the valve handle on the control panel.

A - Bypass Pressure Valve

B - Eductor/Tank Rinse Pressure Valve

C - Agitation Pressure Valve

D - Boom Isolation Valve

Multiple pressure valves are controlled both manually and electronically by the wet system and direct the flow of solution once it exits the pressure side of the solution pump.

Manual Valves:

The bypass pressure valve (A) directs flow to the solution tank when using the solution pump to load from a nurse tank.

The eductor/tank rinse pressure valve (B) directs solution from solution tank, through a venturi and back to solution tank. This venturi creates the vacuum needed to draw solution from the eductor hopper into the solution tank. The tank rinse nozzle/eductor pressure valve also directs water from either the solution or rinse tank to nozzles inside the solution tank when the rinse function is selected.

Electronic Valves:

The agitation pressure valve (C) regulates the amount of agitation inside the solution tank.

The boom isolation valve (D) is closed to allow for cleaning strainers and for boom air purge use if equipped.

Side Quik-Fill Valve

N98785
N98785-UN-12JUL13

A - Side Quik-Fill Valve

B - Valve Handle

Side Quik-Fill valve (A) completes the connection between the nurse tank and the sprayer.

Once the nurse tank hose has been connected to the machine, rotate valve handle (B) until parallel with plumbing to open the connection between the nurse tank and the sprayer.

After filling procedure is completed, rotate handle back to the closed position as shown before disconnecting nurse tank hose from the sprayer.

Front Fill Isolation Valve—If Equipped

N98786
N98786-UN-12JUL13

A - Front Fill Isolation Valve

Front fill isolation valve (A) completes the connection between the front Quik-Fill valve and the solution tank and is controlled by a switch located next to the front Quik-Fill valve.

Front Quik-Fill Valve—If Equipped

N102217
N102217-UN-16MAY13

A - Valve Handle

B - Cap

C - Switch

Front Quik-Fill valve completes the connection between the nurse tank and the front fill isolation valve.

Once the nurse tank hose has been connected to the machine, rotate valve handle (A) until parallel with plumbing to open the connection between the nurse tank and the sprayer. Move switch (C) to the ON position to open front fill isolation valve. Move switch to PULL ON position to start pump in pull-on fill mode.

NOTE: Leave switch in ON position for push-on filling with nurse pump.

After filling procedure is completed, rotate handle back to the closed position as shown and move the switch to the OFF position to close the front fill isolation valve before disconnecting nurse tank hose from the sprayer or performing an air purge on the front fill system.

Eductor Sump Valve

N98787
N98787-UN-11SEP13

A - Valve Handle

Eductor sump valve (A) allows chemical to be drawn from bottom of eductor hopper to top of solution tank.

It is only operational when the eductor/tank rinse valve is in eductor position.

Eductor Rinse Valve

N98788
N98788-UN-11SEP13

A - Valve Handle

Eductor rinse valve allows operator to direct solution to rinse eductor hopper and rinse chemical containers.

Rotate valve handle (A) to rinse.

It is only operational when the eductor/tank rinse valve is in eductor position.

Strainer/Flowmeter Shut-Off Valve

N101655
N101655-UN-11APR13

A - Strainer/Flowmeter Shut-Off Valve

Strainer/Flowmeter shutoff valve (A) allows the operator to close the pressure line when cleaning the pressure strainers or flowmeters. Closing the valve limits the amount of solution that will drain and reduces the amount of air introduced to the system.

To open, rotate handle parallel to solution hose as shown.

To close, rotate handle perpendicular to solution hose.

NOTE: Close strainer/flowmeter shutoff valve when filling sprayer using nurse system pump to avoid air being forced into boom.

Rinse Tank Sump Valve

N98789
N98789-UN-17SEP12

N106676
N106676-UN-24SEP13

A - Rinse Tank Sump Valve

Rinse tank sump valve (A) allows flow from rinse tank and is controlled manually with the valve handle on the control panel.

Rinse Tank Fill Valve

N98790
N98790-UN-12JUL13

A - Rinse Tank Fill Valve

Rinse tank fill valve (A) completes the connection between the nurse tank and the sprayer.
