Adjust Flowmeter Valve—If Equipped

Flowmeter valve (if equipped with high flow plumbing) is located on top of the filling station. This valve must be setup properly to allow the liquid system to spray either low or high application rates.

NOTE: When High flow rate is turned “ON” in SprayStar the flowmeter valve must be opened on boom. If SprayStar and flow meter valve settings do not agree:

  • Valve open but SprayStar High Flow “OFF” — will overapply
  • Valve closed but SprayStar High Flow “ON” — will underapply

    Flow rate ranges are:

  • Low flow rate (up to 378.5 Lpm (100 gpm)
  • High flow rate (378.5 Lpm (100 gpm) and above)

To determine solution flow rate; identify Lpm (gpm) of selected nozzle and multiply by the total number of nozzles on the boom.

Adjust flowmeter valve for your application rate as follows;

Adjust Flowmeter Valve For Low Flow Rate—Up to 378.5 Lpm (100 gpm)

  1. N101656
    N101656-UN-09JUL13

    A - Flowmeter Valve

Close flowmeter valve (A) (if equipped).

  2. Verify high flow rate is turned off in SprayStar. (See Setting Flowmeter(s) Calibration Number in SprayStar section of this manual.)

  3. Set application rate on SprayStar display. (See Setting Application Rates in the SprayStar section of this manual.)

Adjust Flowmeter Valve For High Flow Rate—378.5 Lpm (100 gpm) and Above

  1. N101657
    N101657-UN-09JUL13

    A - Flowmeter Valve

Open flowmeter valve (A) (if equipped).

IMPORTANT: If flowmeter valve (A) is opened for spraying above 378.5 Lpm (100 gpm), the second flowmeter calibration number must also be entered into SprayStar. (See Setting Flowmeter(s) Calibration Number in the SprayStar section of this manual.

  2. Verify high flow rate is turned on in SprayStar. (See Setting Flowmeter(s) Calibration Number in SprayStar section of this manual.)

  3. Set application rate on SprayStar display. (See Setting Application Rates in the SprayStar section of this manual.)
