Operate Rinse System

  1. CAUTION: Spray system can contain hazardous material which can cause serious injury or death to you or others. Wear protective clothing, eyewear, and gloves. Use rinse system in a area where people, animals, vegetation, and water supply etc. cannot be contaminated.

    NOTE: To rinse entire system, solution tank must be empty.

    Machines equipped with Load Command are limited to a double rinse. All other configurations can triple rinse.

    Press rinse button (A).



  2. Press system rinse button (B) or boom rinse button (C) to select desired rinse procedure. Press cancel button (D) to cancel rinse procedure.

    System rinse selected:

    1. Rinse procedure begins automatically, engine speed increases and the following systems are rinsed:

      • Eductor
      • Agitation
      • Bypass
      • Solution Tank
      • Boom

      NOTE: When rinsing eductor operator must manually open eductor rinse and sump valves when display shows that portion of rinse cycle.

      Boom is rinsed when rinse solution is sprayed off at the end of procedure.

      Chemical build-up in aspirators can occur if not cleaned out thoroughly and regularly. To clean, close all nozzles except the aspirator nozzles during boom rinse.

    2. Press advance button (A) to skip to next step if desired.

    3. Press rinse button or cancel button (B) to stop automatic rinse.

    4. NOTE: Engine rpm will revert to previous level when solution pump is turned off, if throttle position has not been adjusted.

      After rinse procedure is complete, unfold boom, and spray rinse solution in a safe location where contamination can not occur.

    Boom rinse selected:

    1. NOTE: Chemical build-up in aspirators can occur if not cleaned out thoroughly and regularly. To clean, close all nozzles except the aspirator nozzles during boom rinse.

      Press master spray switch, engine speed will increase during rinse procedure.

    2. Rinse procedure begins automatically and rinses the following:

      • Boom Plumbing
      • Flowmeters
      • Pressure Strainers

    3. NOTE: Engine rpm will revert to previous level when solution pump is turned off, if throttle position has not been adjusted.

      Press cancel button (A) or master spray switch to stop rinse procedure.

    NOTE: System rinse and boom rinse procedures can be operated from the cab using the GS3 display. (See Setup System Rinse or Rinsing Boom in SprayStar section of this manual.)
