A - Quik-Fill Valve

CAUTION: Spray system can contain hazardous material which can cause serious injury or death to you or others. Wear protective clothing, eyewear, and gloves. Drain solution and clean strainer in an area where people, animals, vegetation, and water supply etc., cannot be contaminated.

Quik-Fill valve (A) can contain hazardous materials which can poison causing serious injury or death to you or others. Before removing Quik-Fill cap (B), make sure that Quik-Fill valve is turned off.

  1. Verify Quik-Fill valve (A) is closed.

  2. Open lock levers and remove cap (B).

  3. CAUTION: Do not drain solution onto the ground. Drain into a container. Drain solution in an area where people, animals, vegetation, and water supply, etc., cannot be contaminated.

    Open Quik-Fill valve and drain solution into a suitable container.

  4. After solution has drained, close Quik-Fill valve and replace cap.

    A - End Cap

    B - Strainer Body

    C - Ring

    D - Strainer

    Remove end cap (A) from end of strainer body (B) and drain solution into suitable container.

    NOTE: Do NOT remove ring (C) from strainer body. Strainer can be removed through end cap opening.



  6. Pull strainer (C) out of strainer body.

  7. NOTE: Soak strainer in cleaning solution to dissolve chemical residue if needed.

    Empty strainer and rinse with clean water.

  8. Insert strainer into strainer body.

  9. NOTE: Verify strainer properly seated in the strainer body before cap installed. If strainer not fully seated, cap and O-ring may not seat properly allowing leaks to occur.

    Install cap on strainer body.

  10. Tighten cap and check for leaks.


Clean Aspirators, Nozzle Bodies, and Tips

    Do not drain solution onto the ground. Drain into a container. Drain solution in an area where people, animals, vegetation, and water supply, etc., cannot be contaminated.

    Relieve boom pressure. See Relieve Boom Pressure in Operating the Machine section.



  2. Remove aspirator (A), nozzle body (B), or tip. Catch solution in a suitable container.

  3. NOTE: Soak components in cleaning solution to dissolve chemical residue if needed.

    Clean components of chemical deposits.

  4. Install all previously removed components and check for leaks.
