Error Messages and Malfunctions

Error messages during satellite reception (North America only):

SATUPDAT

Updating of encryption code

NOSIGNAL

No signal or signal too weak. This error message is displayed until the signal becomes strong enough.

LOADSGNL

Decoding of audio signal not successful; change the channel.

OFF AIR

Selected channel does not broadcast; change the channel.

NOTAVAIL

Selected channel no longer available; the radio system automatically changes to the previous channel.

NO INFO

No artist or track information; the message is displayed until the relevant information is received.

SAT FAIL

XM receiver failure.

Malfunctions:

Radio switches to frequencies on which no station in the region is broadcasting.

The receiver has to be set to the frequency band available in the region. Visit a John Deere™ dealer to get the radio set to the correct frequency band.

AUX audio source not available.

The AUX source is only displayed if an input device is connected to the respective port. In the event of problems, check plugs and cables and switch on the input device.

Speech sound quality bad when using a Bluetooth® hands-free unit.

Make sure the air louvers are not directing the air of the fan towards the microphone. Battery power of the phone too low, connect charger cable.

Message BLOCKED

No audio playback possible. The radio has been locked to prevent unauthorized use (“anti-theft” is active). Visit a John Deere™ dealer to get the radio unlocked.
