Symptom	Problem	Solution
No foam coming out	Check system for air and solution leaks.	Correct leaks.
	Not enough foam concentrate in foam concentrate tank.	Fill foam concentrate tank.
	Check valve plugged.	Clean or replace check valve.
	Damaged or pinched air and/or liquid lines.	Repair lines.
	Flow control valve closed.	Open valve approximately two turns.
	Concentrate in tank is old.	Drain tank, rinse, and add fresh foam concentrate.
	Poor quality concentrate.	Use proper concentrate.
	Hard water.	Use water softener.
	Electric air shut-off valves not working.	Repair or replace electric valves.
	Anti-siphon valves not operating.	Repair or replace valves.
	Air shut-off valve not working.	Repair or replace valve.
	Air shut-off valve plugged.	Remove debris from valve.
	Foamer set to “OFF” on GSD.	Set to “Manual” or “Auto” mode.
	Foamer power supply fuse blown.	Replace fuse.
	OBA tank petcock open.	Close petcock.

Not enough foam	Water valve set too low.	Increase water flow.
	Not enough foam concentrate in solution.	Increase concentrate.
	Damaged or pinched air and/or liquid lines.	Repair lines.
	Hard water.	Use water softener or increase concentrate.
	Clogged in-line filter or foam generating heads.	Clean.
	Poor quality concentrate.	Use proper concentrate.
	Air pressure set too low.	Increase pressure.

Foam will not last	Not enough foam concentrate in solution.	Increase concentrate.
	Poor quality concentrate.	Use appropriate concentrate.
	Collector heads not installed.	Install collector heads.
	Collector heads not clean.	Clean collector heads.

Foam too wet	Liquid flow control valve set too high.	Decrease liquid flow.
	Not enough foam concentrate in solution.	Increase concentrate.
	Clogged in-line filter or foam generating heads.	Clean.

Foam is surging

Too much foam concentrate in solution.

Decrease concentrate.

Solution runs out quickly	Liquid flow control valve set too high.	Decrease liquid flow.
	Not enough foam concentrate in solution.	Increase concentrate.
	Air pressure set too low.	Increase pressure.

Foam blowing in windy conditions	Foam too light.	Mix solution with less concentrate or more water.
	Collector heads not installed.	Install collector heads.
	Water valve set too low.	Increase liquid flow.

Foam only comes out of one side.

Check left/right solenoids in foam marker box.

Clean or replace solenoids.

Foam does not shut off.

Debris in solenoid

Remove debris.

Inner/Outer drops “ON” or “OFF” at wrong times.

Ground wire in cab panel poorly grounded.

Clean grounding points and verify connections tight.
